Saturday, Week 2

Today we painted...

...and we painted...

...and we painted...

...and we painted some more.

Letty takes a break from Christian Ed to take a shift in the ministry of watching.

Some call it Honduras Gold and some say School Bus Yellow. What do you think?

In Christian Ed, the girls enjoy arts and crafts...

...while the boys prefer outdoor soccer.

In the afternoon we walk to the nursery next door to the church...

...and take some time out to smell the roses.

Ummm, why is it only the girls in the rose garden?

I guess girls and roses just go together.

Tomorrow is Sunday so we clean up the church real good for the services.

In Honduras, the priest mops the floors.

Its hugs all around from the kids...

...at the end of the day.

Tonight we were invited to the home of Deacon Connie Sanchez for dinner and dancing. IT WAS FUN!!

Mac & Deacon Connie get us warmed up.

Pretty soon everyone is joining in the fun.

Connie shows us the Honduran moves.

Its like stirring a vat of mayonnaise.

This is great for a sore back.

This sure beats painting.

I can pray anywhere.

IT WAS A DAY OF HARD WORK, FELLOWSHIP, LOVE, AND GREAT FUN FOR ALL. THANKS BE TO GOD!
